Ad.Break is a project about what lies behind ads, likes and trends. How much does what we see online shape us? How do advertising, influencers and consumer culture change the way we see ourselves and the world around us?
Through Ad.Break, teenagers in Mioveni, Argeș county, are invited to put these questions under the microscope and turn their answers into creative experiences. In media literacy and collage art workshops, participants explore how online ads and commercial messages work, how influencers and digital-validation culture shape us, how to think critically about the information and content we consume, and what more responsible digital consumption looks like.
The participants' ideas and creations come to life in a pop-up sound installation, presented to the local community as a space for encounter, reflection and dialogue about our relationship with the digital world. Ad.Break is a pause from the endless scroll — an invitation to look more closely, ask questions, and choose consciously. Project carried out with the support of the Argeș County Council.

Ad.Break is organized by Asociația Culturală Metropolis, with the support of the Argeș County Council.
